Lighthouse Charities is growing a new workforce training program and we couldn't be more excited to share the news!  We are proud to be the new stewards over a beautiful former community garden located just minutes from our home base in North Las Vegas.

This new program means so much more than just employment training or food production to us.  It brings with it the opportunity to provide healing and hope for those whose hands remember a lifetime of "happy work" in far distant places.

So often our refugee clients have traded the challenging but familiar rural life in their home countries for the unfamiliar and often frightening world of urban living.  We love that our new workforce training program at the garden also helps so many to feel connected to home again.
